We had such a lovely stay at Derwent House Farm Villa. the property was outstanding with stunning 360-degree views of the Yorkshire moors. We immediately felt at home in the warm and cosy cottage. the owner, Kate, was lovely and had meticulously presented the cottage with teas, coffees, and even treats for us and our dog. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had the best night's sleep. We also loved that there was a private paddock for our dog to run freely in, it was such a wonderful bonus. Kate was incredibly helpful, which was reassuring for us city dwellers in this beautiful rural area. Our first visit to Yorkshire was a jackpot, and we're already planning our return. the sunsets, sunrises, and local wildlife made our stay perfect. Highly recommend!
Don't have any issues at all 😊.

We had a fantastic stay at the lovely cottage in a peaceful and beautiful location. The owner, Kate, was incredibly thoughtful and made us feel welcome with tea, coffee, and even treats for our dog. The private paddock was well-maintained and provided a great space for our furry companion to run freely. The cottage itself was immaculately presented, warm, and cozy, with stunning views of the Yorkshire moors. We felt right at home and had the most comfortable sleep in the warmest bed ever. The sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking, and we even had the chance to observe the local wildlife. it was a perfect break for us, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

We had the sickest time at Derwent House Farm. The views were crazy, like next-level stuff. We hit up Peasholm Park and it was so dope, like straight out of a movie. Oh, and the airport was super close, like just a quick drive away. Best vacay ever!
Only thing missing was a sick party scene. Like, don't get me wrong, we had a blast with the views and all, but it would've been fire if there was a young people's hangout spot nearby.

The decoration at Derwent House Farm was simply charming, with cozy and comfortable furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained, and I especially loved the peaceful garden where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with well-lit pathways and helpful staff who were always ready to assist.
I wish there had been more organized activities or excursions specifically catered towards senior guests. It would have been nice to have options that took into consideration our specific needs and interests.

Golfing and cycling? Count me in! Leeds Bradford and Teesside airports conveniently close. Seemed far away, but York Minster and Scarborough were worth the drive. Nice seating area.
Who needs a sophisticated, posh lady like me to have easy access to the airport or famous landmarks? Give me a challenge!

The cottage was clean, cozy, and offered stunning 360-degree views of the Yorkshire Moors. We instantly felt at home and loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was peaceful and quiet, giving us the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. The private paddock provided a safe and secure area for our dog to run freely, which was a huge bonus. Kate, the owner, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even leaving treats for us and our furry companion. We can't wait to visit again and would highly recommend this hidden gem.
For families with children, it would be great to have some outdoor play facilities, such as a swing set or a trampoline.

I loved the bathroom fitted with a bath or shower, perfect for relaxing after a long day. As a disabled guest, it was important for me to have a choice, and this room provided me with just that.
I would have preferred to have a bathroom with a shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

Basic cottage, limited dog walks available, detached paddock, no garden access from property, musty smell present.

Had a nice stay for New Year's, good location with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. the cottage itself was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed. the private paddock for the dog was a great addition and our furry friend had a blast running around. Liked the treats left for us upon arrival, a nice touch.
The property lacked dog-friendly amenities. the paddock was not conveniently attached to the cottage, making it difficult to let the dog out without getting dressed and walking around the corner.
